It;s located 27 km from Tanjungpandan city or takes 40 minutes by car. Tanjung Tinggi is highly recomended beach to go in Belitung, it's open for public and free.
Tanjung Kelayang Beach is located only 10 minutes from Tanjung Tinggi Beach. it has very long coastal and some small beautiful islands around. This place usually uses for arts and culture event or others. From here you can take an Island Hopping tour to explore some beautiful beach around this area. Such as Batu garuda Island, Kelayang Island, Batu Belayar Island, Pasir Island and Lengkoas "The lighthouse" Island.
Tanjung Binga Belitung Fisherman Villages is the last destination on this tour. It's located 15 minutes from Tanjung Kelayang Beach. We would to show you about local fisherman coastal life. How they making salty fish and other sea comodity. We will sitting on "parak", talk to local fisherman and waiting for sunset. This place is also the best place to see Sunset.
Nyiur Melambai Beach is located in manggar city, east of belitung, it takes 1,5 hours from Tanjungpandan by car. This beach has very long coastal and white sand. During the fishing season, we could join the local fisherman catch fishes with manual fish net. Manggar is the second main city and also known as 1001 coffeeshop city, so we should have a cup local coffee there.
Kwan Im Temple is located in Burung Mandi distric, about 20 Minutes from Manggar city. This temple has been built by chinese worker many years ago. this temple still uses and also open for tourist. The temple has been decorated colorfull and has so many stairs. it also has very big Kwan Im statue in the top of the temple.
Burung Mandi Beach is located 5 minutes from Kwan Im Temple. There is some seafood local restaurant and homestay. You will see a hundred colorfull "kater" along the coastal. Kater is small traditional boat, it's only fix for 1-2 peoples. They still wind-sail to operate their kater, but some of them already used machine.
Opent Pit is old tin mining site. It's located in Kelapa Kampit distric, about 30 minutes from Burung Mandi Beach. this place has uniq structure caused open mining methode long time ago. It's looks like a cyrcle path into the earth. There are some deep tunnels and a lake in the middle of mining site. it was the biggest tin mining site in Belitung and has many story.
Hiking at Kubing Hill is located 60 km from Tanjungpandan city or about 1 hour drive. This hill is good for hiking, because it end up at Kubing waterfall. Kubing waterfall has beautiful view, and also nice for camping. it takes 30 minutes hike to reach the waterfall, so you need extra energy to have this tour. But the circumtances is priceless.
Penyabong Beach is located 80 km from Tanjungpandan or 25 minutes from Kubing hills. this place is the most beautiful beach in the south of Belitung. You will see the biggest granite rocks overlay here. it registered as national geopark site.
