ISLAND HOPPING BELITUNG WITH ENGLISH GUIDE
Island Hopping Belitung is the famous tour in Belitung. Belitung Island has surrounded by 100 small islands. My favorite one is in the north of Belitung, or what we local people here called Tanjung Kelayang coastal. Tanjung Kelayang is very popular in Belitung Island. It is located 25 km from Tanjungpandan city. It has white and smooth sand, clean ocean and some snorkling spot. From here, you can visit some island around with a traditional boat, such as Batu Garuda Island, Kelayang Island, Pasir "Starfish" Island, Batu Belayar Island, Lengkuas " The Lighthouse" Island, Burung Island, Penis Island and Kepayang Island.
Batu Garuda island is located in the front of Tanjung Kelayang Beach, it called Batu Garuda becaused there is some giant granite that looks like "Bird head". Batu Garuda is surrounded by corals site, so it's hard for a boat move closer to the island without hit the corals.Usually tourist only take some pictures from the boat for couple minutes. In the night, you can see rocks become colorfull by the solar light effect.
Kelayang Island is located next to Batu Garuda Island, but it is more bigger. Kelayang Island has some tall and giant rocks at the behind. This rocks formed like a cave, and you can swim above. This cave become a tourist photospot now, but it is looks nice when water high tide.
Pasir Island is my favorite island in this area. some people called it "Starfish Island", because you will find some big starfish right here. Pasir Island is only show up when the sea is low tide, so you must be confirm your captain boat about the possibility. This island is quite small and beautiful when the sun is shining. But sometime it's so crowded with peoples and drones. Please don't touch or take out starfish from the water for selfie..!!

Lengkuas Island is the fartest island in this area, or usually known as The Lighthouse island. The lighthouse has been built since 1882 by dutch and still working till now. You might see some pictures has been taken from the top of lighthouse on internet, but since 2016, it is closed for tourist activities caused safety reason.
Penis Island is one of the uniq island in this area. this island is unspoiled and only some people know about it. There is uniq and weird rock,it because the rock is looks like a "penis". that's why local people called it Penis Island. If you are curious, dont forget to tell the captain boat or your guide before you leave lengkuas island. This is "on request" island if you take an island hop tour.
Kepayang Island is the biggest island in this area. there is a restaurant with other facilities. but you have to pay for the facilities. Usually i take my guest here only for lunch.
